Windows-Virtual-Desktop-WVD-in-Azure-Part-4In this post, I will show you how to install domain controller in Azure. This type of setup would be beneficial, if your on premises domain controller goes down, the users will be able to login and continue as usual because our Azure domain controller will take care of authentication.
I have a domain controller on premises. I have setup Site to Site connection between On Premises and Azure. You can check the document for rest of the steps.

Windows-Virtual-Desktop-WVD-in-Azure-Part-2In this post, I will show you the steps involved in setting up Site to Site connection in Azure. This is required, if you want to hybrid cloud (On Premise and Azure). Without S2S we cannot communicate from On Premises to Azure Servers.
I tried Point to Site connection using VPN it did not work. P2S is only for client connection to Azure.
In production the company will have their own firewall or vpn device that can be used for S2S connection. Within my home lab, I don’t have firewall or vpn device. So, I am going to use Routing and Remote Access Server (RRAS) to act as vpn device and setup S2S connection through RRAS. You can read through the document how it is done.
Please note S2S connection will cost around $25 per month. So plan your cloud budget accordingly.
