In this post, we will explore Auto Deploy feature in vSphere 7. Auto Deploy is used for ESXi host image deployment that is fully automated and the install is done using TFTP Server, ESXi Offline Bundle and Host Profile. With this feature configured and tested, you don’t need to use CD/DVD or USB stick to deploy ESXi image to a host manually.

I am going to use Stateless deployment for this lab test. In the next blog, I will write about Stateless with Caching and Stateful with Install.
